Why Do Dogs Like Licking My Ears. Some dogs develop a penchant for the taste of ear wax. The first and most common reason is that they like the taste. Being a little bit disgusting sometimes. One of the most common ways dogs soothe themselves is by licking.
This can consist of themselves and other dogs. Licking is incredibly soothing for dogs. So if your dog is licking your ears it will feel comfortable and safe in your presence. But just keep in mind although ear licking is instinctual it can evolve into something more and so you need to be keeping an eye on it.
